In the interests of helping others to avoid stupid mistakes, we would like to share with you a little uncalculated problem we had whilst at the plot today.
We had been planting fruit bushes (more on this when we actually finish the job!) and had decided to pack up for the day. We are lucky we can get our cars right up to the bottom of the plot.
We decided that rather than reversing all the way back down the path, that we’d go to the end of the plots to turn. Unfortunately, as some people may have predicted (!) we got stuck – whoops a daisy!
We managed to use wooden planks and a small plastic pallet to get out of the rut.
Admittedly this is a pretty basic mistake and a well known remedy (although I think we have the rights to the small plastic pallet usage). Nevertheless we are pretty chuffed that we managed to get ourselves out without having the embarrasment of having to be rescued!
